We’ve been working hard behind the scenes at Arbuckles to make sure that our restaurant is as safe as possible, whilst also following the latest government guidelines as a minimum.

That’s why we’ve developed our key promises to you, our loyal customers, as well as our dedicated teams, to keep everybody safe. We also have some small but important requests for our customers which will help us look after everyone in our business.

We’re all in this together, after all you know we’re doing everything we can to protect both you and our teams. These promises and requests mean that you can enjoy some well-earned time in Arbuckles, whilst still being safe.

Safe Socialising

We’re ensuring safe socialising in Arbuckles by:

  • Following the latest social distancing government guidelines.
  • Marking social distance guidelines out to help customers and our teams use them.
  • Sanitising stations throughout the restaurant areas.
  • Giving you the opportunity to book a table before you visit, so you know you have a safe space to enjoy it.
  • Laying out tables to ensure safe spacing with greater than the government recommended social distancing spaces, so you feel extra reassured.
  • Managing and monitoring queues to make them as smooth and easy as possible.
  • Signposting our toilets, meticulously cleaning them and following social distancing measures.
  • In line with government guidelines, whilst not obligatory our staff may still choose to wear masks and visors so you’ll still be able to see their smiles
  • We have installed screens between seating areas for your extra peace of mind.
  • As well as our sanitising stations throughout the building, all servers will also carry a bottle of sanitiser so just ask if you’d like some at the table.
  • Our menus are laminated and will be used once by you then sanitised before the next guests’ use. So you can be confident that every menu you handle has been sanitised before being given to you.
  • Hand contact surfaces will be cleaned throughout the day.
  • Card payments systems even using chip & pin will now mean you can be confident the devices are clean & safe.
  • Cash payments are handled & you will receive change that has been sanitised.
  • Every table and chair will be sanitised before you are sat.
  • We do still welcome your celebrations here, but unfortunately for the time being, we won’t be doing our customary Happy Birthday sing song with staff and guests.

We’re asking you to:

  • Sanitise your hands on entry to the restaurant and throughout your time with us.
  • Follow these social distancing measures so everyone can enjoy their time with us.
  • Ensure children remain seated and accompanied to the toilet with an adult.
